Nanny

My grandids great-grandmother died last night.  I found out when I called to talk to the kids tonight.  She will be greatly missed.  I always used to love going to visit her when I was in Christiansburg.  She was an avid quilter with a group of women from her church, and all the money they received from selling these quilts they donated to the church.  She helped to raise Matt, and was always there for the grandkids.  My deepest condolences to the immediate family.

Visitation

At this time, I now have in a court order that the other grandparents allow me to talk to my grandchildren on the phone.  We have agreed on a schedule.  As far as visitation, no one bothered to ask the kids counselor her opinion so the judge continued the case until Dec cause he wants to hear it.  Getting there!.....

Pls help

These are some pics of Danielle and my grandkids.  I have to go to court Friday in order to get visitation rights for my grandchildren.  The other grandparents are denying me (and just about everyone else) to visit them and are isolating them.  My daughter is still being held in jail.  Been almost a year now and they haven't even set a trial date!  I had to pay a lawyer $500 to represent me Friday, which thanks to help from friends and family I was able to do but still broke me.  Danielle is being held in a jail that charges for everything.  I have been paying her "rent", which is $1 per day, $10 for anytime she visits doctor, $5 for medications, if she even wants a pack of mustard she has to pay 15 cents for it. Any donation, even $5, will be greatly appreciated.  Pls.  This is so hard!

"There's other people involved as well, the suspects that we have arrested have families, and our thoughts and prayers go out to them as well. Also, when children are involved it makes it that much more difficult," said Christiansburg Police Chief Mark Sisson.

Just a small update for now.  I haven't had a computer for a while.  Also, my daughter's lawyers have told me not to make any comments or statements about the case.  I really don't care what they say right now.  Danielle is still being held in jail awaiting trial.  She's been there since December 22, 2010 and not even been to trial yet!  As soon as I figure out how, I will post some pics of her and her children.

Danielle

Danielle is my daughter.  She is being held in jail for a murder that was committed in Christiansburg, Va, even though she was in Richmond, Va with me and her children the whole time.  Her soon-to-be ex-husband was murdered by her boyfriend.  She voluntarily submitted to questioning and a lie detector test and was released.  The polygraph examiner called me at 1:00am to let me know that everything was okay and to "trust that everything was fine" and she was being released.  The next morning her boyfriend confessed to the murder and said that she was involved so they came back and arrested her on the word of a murderer.  Believe me, I was with her when she found out her ex was dead and she had no idea what was going on.  It's one of those things you just can see in someone's face.  She has always been a gentle and kind person too.  The media has portrayed this terribly, some even reporting that she was there and committed the murder with him.  He only implied to the police, once he realized he had been caught and his life was over, that she was involved.  I cannot believe the man, who was a Marine, not only took away my grandkids father, but now he is trying to take my daughter, my grandkids mother, down with him.  Just based on his statement, nothing else, she is being held in jail.  Instead of being presumed innocent until proven guilty, she is being held like someone that is guilty behind bars and in chains until she can prove in court that she is innocent, which she is.  I don't understand the justice system.  I am trying to raise money towards her release which is a lot.  However, any donation, even $5 will be helpful so that I can put it on her phone card to talk to people, which is the only thing keeping her holding on.  Please pray for her if nothing else.  Please.  I want my baby to come home and my grandchildren need their mother.  They already lost their dad.
